GUIDE YOUR SALMON OR EEL ACROSS THE RIVER AND LURE THE HUNGRY BEAR TO YOUR RIVAL'S TERRITORY.

Turn after turn engage your fish in the river by cleverly choosing to place them on the tiles whose effect will make the bear advance towards your opponent's territory. Be patient to skillfully position all your fish at the best  locations. Be very careful because a well-prepared shot can send you to the bottom of a hungry stomach!

How to play?

At each game turn:

• Choose one of the 3 current tokens
• Advance a salmon pawn  or eel on the river of the number displayed on the current tile.
• Apply the effect of the river tile to the arrival tile
• As soon as your salmon or eel arrives on the other side of the river, move the bear forward one space.
• As soon as the bear arrives in the salmon or eel nest, the game ends.

Deep River is a tactical game of logic and anticipation. Anticipate your opponent's moves in advance and prepare your parries. The number of turns is limited which gives the game additional tension. Between tension and depth, this river will take you into fast and bubbling parts.
