WHO WILL BE THE BIGGEST INSECT COLLECTOR?

GOAL OF THE GAME :

Players must catch insects in pairs of identical cards, to obtain the largest collection and thus earn points. There are 5 species of insects to collect in the game: bees, beetles, ants, dragonflies and butterflies.

HOW TO PLAY :

Shuffle the Objective cards then place them in a pile, face down, on their side. Then, turn the top card of the deck face up. Shuffle the deck of Insect cards and deal 2 to each player. Everyone secretly reads their cards. Then, place face up, in the center of the table, as many pairs of cards as the number of players, plus one pair. Ex: for 2 players, place 3 pairs of cards.
This area will be called the capture zone. Form a draw pile with the rest of the cards, face down. Finally, choose one of the 8 objective cards.

PHASE 1: CAPTURE
Starting with the first player and going clockwise, each player takes one of the pairs visible on the table and adds it to their hand. There will therefore remain a pair in the capture zone, which will be present in the next round.
Once each player has captured a pair, phase 2 begins.

PHASE 2: THE COLLECTION
At the same time, each player will be able to place collections of insects on the table if they wish, respecting the following points:
• To collect a species of insect, you must place 2 by 2 cards representing this insect.
• When a player collects an insect, he places the corresponding cards in a column face up in front of him.
• Only 2 different insect species can be placed each turn.
• Each insect species will then form a separate column. These columns will be called the “collection area”.

When the draw pile of Insect cards is exhausted and all players have completed their collection phase, the game ends. The pair remaining in the capture zone is discarded. The points are then counted to determine the winner of the game.

• A puzzle, sorting and collection game
• A different objective in each game for great replayability
• A universal theme that will appeal to young and old alike
• Illustrations that immediately catch the eye
